Roles & Responsibilities:

• Machining Operations: Perform turning, boring, threading, facing, drilling, reaming, threading, and tapping operations.
• Technical Drawing: Ability to create machine drawings prior to executing jobs.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Watch gauges, dials, or indicators daily to ensure machines operate efficiently.
• Problem Detection: Detect malfunctions, replace worn tools, and clean debris from machines as needed.
• Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with accuracy.
• Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining principles and mechanical systems.
• Material Knowledge: Familiarity with various materials and their machining properties.

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in a relevant field, specifically in mining and heavy equipment operations.
